 Hello, I'm Ange — the hands and heart behind Poesy Ceramics. The name Poesy, taken from the French word for a bouquet of flowers or a collection of poems, captures the spirit of my work. To me, shaping clay from the earth feels much like crafting poetry — a quiet, thoughtful process that turns something simple into something meaningful.

My practice combines hand-building techniques like coiling, slab work, and moulding to create unique sculptural pieces and functional stoneware. Each piece is one of a kind, and I celebrate the subtle imperfections that come with handmade work — they're part of the story.

Nature is my constant inspiration — the curve of a leaf, the rise of a wave, or the soft glow of late afternoon light often find their way into my forms and textures.
